It's Friday!

This happened two weekends ago! :)

Cassie has all weekend off to read and clean and do crafts!

Mary applied for a few jobs and signed up for volunteering.

We are on day 26 of our new healthy lifestyle.

It has rained for Mary for the past 3 days

It has also been chilly; Mary hates the cold!

Cassie has had an emotional and long week at work. She is glad it's the weekend!

As long as the rain holds off for the rest of the weekend, Cassie and her husband get to finally have their photo shoot that was rescheduled from August!

Mary was productive this week and applied for quite a few jobs!

Mary also started a new craft, coffee table makeover! (Will post pictures when done!)

Mary & Cassie are going to be participating in the #SwiftlyPainted Self Portrait Challenge starting October 1. {If you're interested, you can read more about it here.}

Mary is back from her whirlwind vacation, and Cassie missed her!

{although, Mary'll probably say being back from vacation is a crappy. ;)}

Cassie is brunette again...and just in time for fall!

Cassie was told at her temp job to look for full-time long term employment within the library system because of her stellar performance!

Cassie met a girl at work that she went to a youth retreat with in high school!

Mary applied for 4 new jobs this week!

Mary gets to see her niece and nephews in 6 days!

Mary has a great college friend visiting Sunday!

Mary cooked and baked all day! Very happy with the results: honeycomb brittle, pumpkin butterscotch muffins, salsa, and a breaded chicken with a white wine cream sauce and noodles

Cassie found this awesomely terrible song called Crush that everyone should know about it. She thinks it's comparable to Rebecca Black's "Friday" song.

Cassie's photo shoot last weekend was postponed since the field was wet and muddy.

Mary & Cassie haven't read any books in almost two weeks! :(

Mary doesn't like that it's been raining the past two days straight! Where's her summer sunshine!

Mary's skin is burning from making salsa with jalapeños!-prepare with caution!

Cassie made cupcakes!!!!

Cassie and her husband are getting professional pictures taken on Sunday {if the rain holds off} for free!!

Mary got a couple job applications done!

It is getting more and more difficult to find good, quality job postings.

Being a temp is sad because you get to work with great people for a short time and then you get transferred.

Mary may be going on a European trip in 3.5 weeks!
Mary is trying to get back in shape and be healthy; so she's buying cute new workout gear.
We both are so excited about this blog and hope other people are excited too!
Mary organized her fridge - a small milestone, but it's so pretty now!

Cassie started as a temp this week at a library.

Cassie and Mary live far away from each other. :(

On a side note: Cassie and I both agree we need to post some unemployment related things-due to the name of our blog, but we are way more than just unemployed ladies! We will continue on with our fun posts and slip in a few of our unemployment complaints, tips, and stories along the way!
